Our Rainbow Home residents with some sisters from SIB KL church.
Warmest greetings to all fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. It always lifts our spirits to know that you are with us in this journey of transforming lives especially, in times such as these. The financial tremors of 2008 have indeed made this year both a year of challenge and a year of faith. At a time when our regular work projects have immensely reduced, our intakes of students have taken a forward thrust. This has intermingled the challenge of keeping our books in the black with our desire to sow into the precious lives entrusted upon us.
But, ultimately, we acknowledge that this is our Father’s work and where He begins, He will bring unto completion. In a season where our faith is constantly stretched, we are thankful for likeminded brothers and sisters such as yourselves who have continuously supported and encouraged us. As we battle in the war against drugs that has increasingly claimed the lives of our young, may we unite to regain our lost generations. We believe that as we continue to undergird each other in this journey, victory will be gained simply because unity attracts the blessings of God. And we thank you for your partnership as it not only encourages but reminds us that we are not and should not be in this alone.
May God bless you and your household abundantly for your faithfulness. More news in KenoScene Sept 2009 (pdf format).
